As COVID-19 cases in Houston and Harris County continue to increase, The Contemporary Arts Museum of Houston has had to delay their planned reopening from January 21st to February 18th.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, the safety of the CAMH team and public have remained their first priority. By many measures, the last couple of weeks in Houston have been the worst since the onset of the pandemic. The average positivity rate in Harris County is currently 20%, and nearly 50,000 people have tested positive in the last two weeks. Harris County remains under Stay Home – Severe Threat status.
Contemporary Arts Museum of Houston is looking forward to unveiling Wild Life and to reopening Slowed andamp; Throwed to the public as soon it is safe to do so.
Until then, CAMH will continue to directly support artists and reach our audiences wherever you are.
