Michael MK is a native Houstonian through and through. Though born in Ann Arbor Michigan, he "got here as quick as he could" as the saying goes. His mother moved to Houston when he was only 8 months old and even though he has lived in such diverse places throughout his life as New York, San Francisco, Berkeley California, Austin, New Orleans, Wilmington North Carolina, Los Angeles, Huntington Beach California and even Lafayette Louisiana for a spell, he has always come back to Houston.

Over the course of his life he has owned, built and developed at least ten Houston based businesses including a publishing company which published two hyper-local newspapers, a real estate company, three nightclubs, an events management company, a marketing company and an international talent agency representing some of the world's most respected musicians and entertainers.
 
Michael lives in the north Houston area with his wife and kids and is actively involved in his community.
