Houston Dash announce open practice for fans on March 27 at BBVA Stadium

The practice session will be free and open to fans. Fans can download free tickets for the practice session beginning Wednesday at 10 a.m. at HoustonDash.com/SingleGame.  

Additionally, the annual Dynamo Charities Fire Sale will take place on March 27 beginning at 10 a.m. at BBVA Stadium prior to the scrimmage.  The annual Dynamo Charities Fire Sale offers fans the opportunity to purchase team-issued and team-worn items from both Houston Dynamo FC and Dash. This will also mark fans’ best opportunity to collect gear bearing the teams’ old logos before they take the pitch under their new branding.

Fans will be allowed to enter the stadium at the H-Town Gate, on the northeast corner of the stadium. In order to ensure safe and socially-distanced shopping, guests will be divided into groups of 30 beginning at 10 a.m. and shop for a 20-minute window. Dash 365 and Dynamo 365 Season Ticket Members will have exclusive access to sign up for 20-minute time slots beginning Wednesday morning, and the general public will be able to sign up for time slots beginning Friday.

The Dash will return to action on April 9 as they begin their Challenge Cup title defense in a rematch of the 2020 final against the Chicago Red Stars. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. CT as Kealia Watt and Chicago return to East Downtown for the first time since 2019.   

Following the Challenge Cup, the NWSL’s 10 teams will face off in a 24-game regular season beginning May 15, 2021. The league will not break for the 2021 Olympic Games and the regular season will conclude on Oct. 30, 2021. Full details on the Challenge Cup format and the complete regular season schedule will be released at a later date.
