With most Houston area cinemas considered no-go zones for anyone concerned about the spread of Covid-19, and the future of those multi-screen monoliths questionable at best, Houston's Rooftop Cinema Club is providing a unique, alternative experience to the normal night out at the movies. Houston's Rooftop Cinema Club strives to make all experiences memorable, which is why they are on a mission to transform nights at the movies to cinematic events like no other. The concept is simple. You bring your friends and loved ones, and Houston Rooftop Cinema Club brings you city skylines, sunsets, starlit evenings, awesome drinks, delicious food, and great movies on the big screen. Driven by their love of film, their Rooftops promise a handpicked curation of cults, classics, and new releases.

Houston’s Rooftop Cinema Club has just announced its February movie listings at the city’s largest drive-in movie screen at The Drive-In off Navigation. Movies are projected onto a permanent 64-foot screen via their state-of-the-art projector, cars are parked 10 feet apart, and audio is broadcast through the FM transmitter radio in your car. Concessions are available with contactless order and pick-up, and guests can enjoy eats from local food trucks. Restrooms are also available on site. What more do you need? Located in the heart of Houston's East End with stunning Houston skyline views, this venue is a perfect spot to watch movies under the stars. February 3: Father of The Bride - George Banks is an ordinary, middle-class man whose 22 year-old daughter Annie has decided to marry a man from an upper-class family, but George can’t think of what life would be like without his daughter. His wife tries to make him happy for Annie, but when the wedding takes place at their home and a foreign wedding planner takes over the ceremony, he becomes slightly insane.
 

February 3: 50 First Dates - Henry Roth is a man afraid of commitment up until he meets the beautiful Lucy. They hit it off and Henry think he's finally found the girl of his dreams, until he discovers she has short-term memory loss and forgets him the next day.
 

February 4: Romeo + Juliet - In director Baz Luhrmann’s contemporary take on William Shakespeare’s classic tragedy, the Montagues and Capulets have moved their ongoing feud to the sweltering suburb of Verona Beach, where Romeo and Juliet fall in love and secretly wed. Though the film is visually modern, the bard’s dialogue remains.
 

February 4: Friday the 13th - Camp counselors are stalked and murdered by an unknown assailant while trying to reopen a summer camp that was the site of a child’s drowning.
 

February 5: Love andamp; Monsters - Seven years after the Monsterpocalypse, Joel Dawson, along with the rest of humanity, has been living underground ever since giant creatures took control of the land. After reconnecting over radio with his high school girlfriend Aimee, who is now 80 miles away at a coastal colony, Joel begins to fall for her again. As Joel realizes that there’s nothing left for him underground, he decides against all logic to venture out to Aimee, despite all the dangerous monsters that stand in his way.
 

February 5: Poetic Justice - In this film, we see the world through the eyes of main character Justice, a young African-American poet. A mail carrier invites a few friends along for a long overnight delivery run. Starring Janet Jackson and Tupac Shakur.
 

February 6: Aladdin - Princess Jasmine grows tired of being forced to remain in the palace, so she sneaks out into the marketplace, in disguise, where she meets street-urchin Aladdin. The couple falls in love, although Jasmine may only marry a prince. After being thrown in jail, Aladdin becomes embroiled in a plot to find a mysterious lamp, with which the evil Jafar hopes to rule the land.
 

February 6: Selena - The true story of Selena Quintanilla-Perez, a Texas-born Tejano singer who rose from cult status to performing at the Astrodome, as well as having chart topping albums on the Latin music charts.
 

February 7: Casablanca - In Casablanca, Morocco in December 1941, a cynical American expatriate meets a former lover, with unforeseen complications.
 

February 7: House Party - Young Kid has been invited to a party at his friend Play’s house. But after a fight at school, Kid’s father grounds him. None the less, Kid sneaks out when his father falls asleep. But Kid doesn’t know that three of the thugs at school have decided to give him a lesson in behavior.
 

February 10: She’s the Man - Viola Johnson is in a real jam. Complications threaten her scheme to pose as her twin brother, Sebastian, and take his place at a new boarding school. She falls in love with her handsome roommate, Duke, who loves beautiful Olivia, who has fallen for Sebastian! As if that were not enough, Viola’s twin returns from London ahead of schedule but has no idea that his sister has already replaced him on campus.
 

February 10: If Beale Street Could Talk (Community Screening) - After her fiance is falsely imprisoned, a pregnant African-American woman sets out to clear his name and prove his innocence.
 

February 11: Dirty Dancing - Nobody puts baby in a corner. And, if they do - she dances right out of it. Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey star as Baby and Johnny, the two young lovers from different worlds who find romance and dance one fateful summer at Kellerman's Resort.

John Hughes Birthday Celebration - "“Life moves pretty fast. Terrified and in fear for their lives, the man, a retail employee, and the woman, a criminal defense lawyer, are forced to go on the run. But the incident is captured on video and goes viral, and the couple unwittingly become a symbol of trauma, terror, grief and pain for people across the country.

Along the way however, the guys learn many hard lessons about the reality of the music industry with its casual racism and greed while the personal weaknesses of the members threaten to destroy the integrity of the band.
 

February 25: Jurassic Park - Steven Spielberg's 1993 blockbuster is still as impressive now as when it was first released. During a preview tour, a theme park suffers a major power breakdown that allows its cloned dinosaur exhibits to run amok. Starring Sam Neill, Laura Dern, Jeff Goldblum, and Sir Richard Attenborough, and featuring John Williams' iconic score.

When fate places Remy in the sewers of Paris, he finds himself ideally situated beneath a restaurant made famous by his culinary hero, Auguste Gusteau. Despite the apparent dangers of being an unlikely – and certainly unwanted – visitor in the kitchen of a fine French restaurant, Remy’s passion for cooking soon sets into motion a hilarious and exciting rat race that turns the culinary world of Paris upside down.
 

February 27: Creed - Writer/director Ryan Coogler (Black Panther) and Michael B. Jordan team up in this emotionally satisfying extension of the Rocky universe. The former World Heavyweight Champion Rocky Balboa serves as a trainer and mentor to Adonis Johnson, the son of his late friend and former rival Apollo Creed.
 

February 28: The Silence of The Lambs - Clarice Starling is a top student at the FBI’s training academy. Jack Crawford wants Clarice to interview Dr. Hannibal Lecter, a brilliant psychiatrist who is also a violent psychopath, serving life behind bars for various acts of murder and cannibalism. Crawford believes that Lecter may have insight into a case and that Starling, as an attractive young woman, may be just the bait to draw him out.

Directions:
Head down I-10 East and exit 770B toward Jensen Dr. Take a left at Jensen Dr. and continue down until you hit Runnels St. Take a right at Runnels St. and in about 150 feet you will have arrived.

Tickets range from $22–36 for a vehicle, depending on occupancy and screening day. Children 3 and under do not count as vehicle occupants. Parking spots are first-come-first-serve and will be assigned by ushers upon arrival. Check individual screenings for exact pricing. All ages are welcome to the Drive-In, however, we encourage you to check the rating of the film you are purchasing tickets for.
