Just before 10 pm Thursday night a 30-year-old male from The Woodlands was traveling at a high rate of speed heading west on the SH 99 feeder approaching Valley Ranch Parkway on a Harley Davidson motorcycle. Witnesses say he was passing on the right shoulder and possibly clipped the wall taking him across the westbound lanes of the feeder. The rider then struck the curb and lost control causing the bike to flip and ejecting him. MCHD medics and Porter firefighters worked for close to 30-minutes but were unable to save him. Montgomery County Precinct 1 Justice of the Peace Wayne Mack responded to the scene for the inquest and ordered Eickenhorst Funeral Directors to transport the victim to the Montgomery County Forensic Center for autopsy. The feeder reopened close to 1-am after the investigation was complete. DPS investigated the crash.
