Yesterday, March 15th, Deputy Wilson with Constable Mark Herman's Office was traveling  on the Tomball Parkway when she observed a dog in the main lanes of the freeway during a very busy time (7pm).  She immediately activated her emergency lights and was able to capture the beautiful brown Labrador pictured above, and placed her in her patrol vehicle.

She took the dog to the hospital and luckily, she was microchipped and identified as Oaklee Horn! The owner, Lisa Horn, was notified and shared that she had recently lost family members and her job and when Oaklee jumped out of her vehicle while pumping gas. She thought she had lost her best friend too.

Lisa stated that she prayed for hours that Oaklee would be found and returned to her and God answered her prayer! Deputy Wilson was at the right time at the right place. Thank you for going above and beyond, even for our furry friends in Precinct 4!
