The annual Woodlands Waterway Arts Festival for 2021 is expected to go on as planned as usual with Covid safety protocols in place on April 10-11 along the scenic pathways lining The Woodlands Waterway and Town Green Park in The Woodlands, next to The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion.

More than 15,000 guests of all ages enjoy this event. Festival-goers include fans of the visual and performing arts, art collectors, music lovers, families, foodies and out-of-town visitors. The art show is held 100% outdoors.

The annual Woodlands Waterway Arts Festival features 200 juried international, national and regional artist exhibits along the scenic pathways lining The Woodlands Waterway. The art represents a diverse mix of painting, drawing, fiber art, sculpture, jewelry, glass, woodworking, photography, mixed media, clayworks and digital art. The spectrum of fine art and fine craft appeals to a wide range of tastes and budgets.

The Woodlands Waterway Arts Festival is a two (2) day outdoor celebration of the visual, performing and culinary arts. Recognized NATIONALLY as one of the best outdoor juried visual arts events, the Festival also offers superior culinary experiences, a gourmet specialty product area, educational art activities for children and adults, live performances and special exhibitions. The Festival is produced by The Woodlands Arts Council, Inc., which is a tax exempt, arts organization. Net proceeds from the Festival are used to improve the annual event, to present regional educational and cultural programs throughout the year, and to assist other arts-related nonprofit organizations.
