Public workshop to build Discovery Labyrinth Saturday, April 2 from 12-3 pm Discovery Labyrinth on view: April 10 – June 30 You’re invited to bring Discovery Green’s latest art installation to life. Join Houston artist Reginald C Adams at the park to help build Discovery Labyrinth. Saturday, April 2 from 12 – 3 pm. The labyrinth will be made out of flowering plants on the Sarofim Picnic Lawn. A labyrinth is an ancient ritual that connects the individual with the earth in a walking path to meditation and reflection. To use a labyrinth, one walks with focus and concentration, a circuitous path that winds around to reach the center of a large circle and then slowly retraces steps to reach the end of the meditation. Adams will lead the inaugural Labyrinth Walk during Green Mountain Energy Earth Day on Sunday, April 10 at 4 pm.
