Houston's Theatre Under The Stars has announced their 2021 Live and In Person season will kick off with Broadway's ultimate 80's party "Rock Of Ages" at The Hobby Center. The New York Times calls Rock Of Ages “A seriously silly, absurdly enjoyable arena-rock musical…the performances blend sincere conviction and knowing parody. I never would have guessed that wine coolers could age this well!”. 

As someone who grew up a teenager in the 80's, I can attest to the fact that Rock Of Ages gets it right. The musical takes you back to the time of bands with big egos, big guitar solos and even bigger hair! Featuring the music of hit bands including REO Speedwagon, Pat Benatar, Twisted Sister, Bon Jovi, Styx, and Journey, this hit musical was nominated for five Tony Awards® including Best Musical.
