The Houston Astros today announced a multi-year partnership with Uber Eats to be the ballclub’s official mobile ordering platform. With this partnership, fans will have the opportunity to skip ballpark concession lines by ordering food and beverages on the Uber Eats mobile app.
Beginning this season at Minute Maid Park, fans can open the Uber Eats app and order their stadium favorites with a tap of a button. The Uber Eats app uses geolocation technology, enabling fans to place an order within select locations nearest to their seats, pay for the selected items within the app, and pick up their orders through designated Uber Eats Order Pickup locations around the ballpark.

“This is another exciting partnership for the Astros,” said Marcel Braithwaite, Astros Senior Vice President, Business Operations. “We are constantly exploring ways to help provide world-class experiences to our fans. Integrating Uber Eats and its on-demand, mobile-based technology into the stadium experience is a perfect example of this. The Uber Eats technology provides a more streamlined and convenient way for fans to order food and drink remotely so they can spend more time enjoying baseball.”
Additionally, during select games, Uber Eats Ambassadors will be roaming Minute Maid Park to help educate fans on how to utilize the app.
"We know Texans rely on Uber to get to games, concerts, and other big events but we've also been hard at work to enable access to much more than a reliable ride,” said Sarfraz Maredia, VP of Delivery for the US andamp; Canada at Uber. “With easy skip-the-line ordering, we're excited to bring Uber Eats technology to fans at Minute Maid Park so they can quickly grab their snacks—and get back to the game—without missing a play.”
Consumers who would like to order at Minute Maid Park using the Uber Eats app can use the Code “LevelUp” to get up to $25 off their first in stadium order on Uber Eats.
