For more than 50 years, Humble Backyard has existed as a bar on the northside of Houston area in Humble just off Beltway 8 and Hwy 69. Recently, when Covid-19 shutdowns turned disaster into opportunity,  the folks at Pitmaker BBQ  and Backyard Group LLC, combined to turn this local watering hole into what can best be described as a necessary food, drink and entertainment experience. The mostly outdoor restaurant/bar/venue has been fully "decked' out with an incredible backyard patio-style vibe that is both comfortably homey and begging for a party. 

The atmosphere is uniquely "Humble" in its appearance and vibe, though somewhat familiar if you are a regular at some of the Midtown Houston, East Downtown (EADO) and Heights area craft beer haunts. It's kind of like someone took the inner-loop cool and dropped it on a plot of land that would normally be considered anything but. Houston business owners have always been known for taking creative chances with less-than desirable locations and turning them into something quite attractive and that's exactly what the folks from Pitmaker and Backyard Group LLC have done here.

Did we mention Humble Backyard has live music? The place has a great outdoor stage for live music regularly from mostly Houston area local and regional bands of all musical styles with a tendency to lean towards a roots, Americana and rock direction. While you get your rock on, Humble Backyard would love for you to check out some of their many signature cocktails including GM Jason Kersey’s homemade, stacked bloody marys, a local favorite on Saturdays and Sundays.
