The Lake Houston Home and Outdoor Living Show is back in Humble this spring on March 20th and 21st at the Humble Civic Center featuring some great speakers, workshops, presentations and more by some of the area's top names in the home care, home repair, gardening, outdoor living, travel, leisure and lifestyle industries.
The Lake Houston Home and Outdoor Living Show, sponsored by Kingwood Caller, Forest Image Magazine, Community Impact Newspaper, Kingwood Tribune, Renewal By Andersen and more, is partnering this year with local non-profit FamilyTime Crisis and Counseling Center to raise funds and raise awareness for a cause that is very close to the hearts and minds of Lake Houston area residents.
Some of the home improvement categories that will be covered and represented at the Lake Houston Home and Outdoor Living show include windows, doors, outdoor living ideas, kitchen and bath design, closet and kitchen organization, arbors, patio furniture, outdoor kitchens, window treatments, flooring, mosquito control, solar energy, remodeling and building contractors, painters, pool builders, home security, trees, window softeners, roofing, AC and heating, generators, attic solutions and more!
In addition to the various booths showcasing all of the above, attendees will also have the chance to attend a presentation by Randy Lemmon, host of Gardenline on AM 740 KTRH, as he discusses spring gardening ideas and tips, followed by a book signing. Also appearing will be Diane Cowen, Architecture and Design writer for the Houston Chronicle, discussing Top 10 Design Trends, what's hot right now and how you can mix new ideas into your existing decor. She'll also provide tips and advice on how to find stylish decor in a variety of price points. Other speakers include Tynan, host of HomeShow Radio Pros, Danny Millikin, host of HomeShow Garden Pros, Mary Scalli, CEO/President of Simple Elegance, Luxury Style Specialist, Interior Decorator and Centurion dealer for Hunter Douglas Window Fashions.
Ellen Delap, NAPO Certified Professional Organizer will be on hand to discuss Houston's hottest home products for organizing and productivity, and to share the perfect products, an array of apps, stylish and functional products to keep your home in order and productive.
Lastly, Sharon Lewis of Kingwood Travel will be in attendance giving tips on travel now and in a post-Covid world.
A few of the exhibitor highlights include a lighting technology display by Trimlight Houston showcasing color change accent lighting to help you light your home for the Holidays or any event, year-round with permanent, controllable lighting; a plant sale courtesy of Warrens Southern Gardens featuring special show pricing on premium hanging plants bursting with color, floral quality house plants, succulents and more; a Hunter Douglas feature exhibit by Simple Elegance; a spa sale by Aqua Living Factory Outlet and more!
Oh and if you get hungry, David and Teresa from Kingwood's Firecraft BBQ will be on hand with their Texas Style Pit-smoked fire-roasted meats.
