Get the staycation started! For those looking for activities to keep the kids entertained this Spring Break, the Houston Zoo has fun for the entire family. Starting March 14, guests can once again visit adorable goats in the petting zoo as the John P. McGovern Children’s Zoo reopens with limited hours

Guests can also explore the Zoo’s newest exhibit, South America’s Pantanal, and get up close with the Masai giraffe herd to feed them a leafy treat daily at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. See the Asian elephant herd, including both baby elephants, and wish Winnie a happy first birthday. Guests can make their Zoo visit even more memorable with one of more than 10 Animal Encounter options.

To secure the best price, and ensure access, guests should book their tickets early and save at www.HoustonZoo.org. Online ticket reservations for all guests are required. Spring Break can be a busy time around the Zoo and Hermann Park. Guests can view parking information ahead of their visit to plan for the best places to park.

By visiting the Houston Zoo, guests help save animals in the wild. A portion of every Zoo admission ticket supports wildlife-saving efforts around the world.
