Houston Rooftop Cinema Club is a unique cinematic experience for all ages. With locations in Houston, San Antonio, Dallas, Los Angeles, New York, London, San Diego and Tampa, the Rooftop Cinema Club's Houston location drops you in the heart of this city's most immersive skyline. Doors open early before the screening, so you can enjoy all the elements of our experience during the most beautiful times – golden hour, sunset and dusk. The movie begins after the sun goes down, just as the stars are coming out and the city lights are starting to twinkle. Outdoor movies have never looked so great.
Houston Rooftop Cinema Club's program is hand-picked with a personal touch and features everything from cult films, to classics, to new releases. To make your favorite movies extra special, they curate a monthly set of events with unique elements. Think games, prizes, talent QandAs, movie premieres, sing-a-longs and more. Oh yeah, and when you attend a film at Houston Rooftop Cinema Club, it's well advised to show up hungry. HCRC takes “dinner and a movie” to new heights. Every location is complete with a food menu and a full bar featuring refreshing cocktails, beer and wine. Their box office is also stocked with classic movie snacks, candy and popcorn. All popcorn purchases are bottomless, so you can refill as many times as you like!
While some of the Rooftop Cinema Club locations are rooftop seated, others, like the one off Navigation in Houston are Drive-In style experiences. The Houston location on Post Oak is a seated venue, though it is temporarily closed due to the Covid-19 pandemic. When it is open, you'll find they provide deckchairs, with adjustable seat heights, pillows and plenty of leg room, allowing you to lean back and relax under the night sky. They offer two kinds of deckchairs - lounge seats for one or love seats for two (perfect for date night). They also provide blankets at the box office for extra comfort.
