The Rink: Rolling at Discovery Green returns Friday, March 4 through Sunday, April 10!

Get outside and make a special memory with your family this spring. Glide beneath the glittering lights of downtown in the center of the beautiful 12-acre park at Discovery Green. 

Tickets are $12 per person plus tax and includes skate rental.
 
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommends outdoor activities as safer alternatives to indoor activities. To prevent the spread of Covid-19 and to protect the health of all Houstonians, the following safety protocols will be follwed:
A reduced number of tickets will be sold to maintain social distancing. 
Tickets must be purchased in advance online at to ensure contactless ticketing. 
Guests must have a pre-purchased ticket to enter the venue. (Skating guests under the age of 12 may have one parent or guardian accompany them. This person will be asked to stay in a public viewing area while the minor skates.)
A number of changes in the venue have been made to allow for social distancing while changing shoes and skates.
Hand sanitizer will be available for guests.
Rink staff procedures have been revised to allow for social distancing and monitoring. Equipment and touchpoints in the facility will be thoroughly sanitized at regularly scheduled intervals.

Fridays:                                       5 – 11 pm
Saturdays and HISD holidays*:     11 am –11 pm
Sundays:                                    11 am – 8 pm  

*HISD holidays: March 14 – 18, March 28

The Rink Opening Night
Friday, Mar 4, 5-11 pm
Enjoy music by DJ Mohawk Steve and roller derby demonstrations. The first 50 skaters in line skate for free.

    Cheap Skate Nights    
Mondays, Mar 7 & 21; April 4, 5 – 10 pm  
 On select Mondays, skate around the rink for just $8 plus tax per person.

   Time Warp Tuesdays    
Tuesdays, Mar 8 – April 5, 7 – 9 pm 
Skate to your favorite songs from decades past curated by DJ Mohawk Steve.  

Clutch City Wednesdays 
Wednesdays, Mar 9 – April 6, 5-10 pm 
Skate to music by Houston artists and wear any Houston sports team gear to receive $2 off admission. Discounted tickets must be purchased in person. If the desired time is fully booked, there may be a wait.

   Throwback Thursdays    
Thursdays, Mar 10 – April 7, 7 – 9 pm
 Skate to songs from decades past curated by DJ Mohawk Steve.  

   FUNomenal Fridays    
Fridays, Mar 11 – April 8, 7 – 10 pm (March 18, 5-8 pm)
Music by DJ Mohawk Steve, a light show and roller skating make for FUNomenal Friday nights. 

   Skate Party Saturdays
Saturdays, Mar 12 – April 9, 7-10 pm
Listen to the coolest pop hits by DJ Boris while skating on the rink.
